Final Ten Titles!

Yesterday we had the Panel Meeting where the fourth cycle of Exclusively Independent would begin.

The submission call closed May 10, and the panel had less time than normal, only ten days, to narrow the list down.

We received over 70 submissions, coming in from all genres offering a consistent supply of diverse titles.

The Final Ten Titles this cycle are:

The Budapest Protocol by Adam LeBor (Reportage Press)
The Visionary and other Poems by Emily Bronte and Chris Emery (Salt Publishing)
8 Rooms by Various Authors (Legend Press)
Empires Apart by Brian Landers (Picnic Publishing)
Go With Me by Castle Freeman (Duckworth)
Yucky Love Thing by Michael Catchpool (Gullane Childrens Books)
Jack Highfield: Chaos Unleashed by Alec Sillifant (Meadowside Childrens Books)
Sweets from Morocco by Jo Verity (Honno Press)
I Live Under a Black Sun by Edith Sitwell (Peter Owen Publishing)
Big Book of Betsey Biggalow by Malorie Blackman (Barn Owl Books)

I'm really pleased with the selection this month. It's great to see such strong titles covering fiction, short stories and childrens books.

Over the next two weeks, the titles will all be sourced, and officially launched in shops 3 June.

The next call for submissions opens tomorrow, 22nd May, as the project tightens up to work on a four week basis.
